Because it can simulate actual operating conditions, the AIDCO Model 255 Valve Body Tester performs with exceptional accuracy. A wide variety of operating conditions are created by combining electronic shift control components, shift selector and modulator controls, hydraulic oil pressure and motorized rotation for the governor (optional). Using these controls, shift schedules can be customized to provide optimum transmission performance in every application.
As AIDCO continues to meet the needs of a changing market, the Model 255 can now be equipped with electronic controls to test valve bodies for Allison Generation 4 1000/2000 series and 3000/4000 series transmissions.

Reduced Labor Time - Easy installation of valve body and governor during testing results in less labor time. Additionally, shift points can be adjusted prior to valve body installation, valve body and separator plates can be tested as one unit, and you'll be able to customize shift schedules for optimum performance in specific applications.
Cost Savings - The Model 255 Test Stand eliminates the need for maintaining large stocks of matched valve bodies and governors. In addition, the Model 255 can be fitted to test governors independently from valve bodies and you will be able to assemble and calibrate valve bodies as you need them.
Optional Features - Each Model 255 is custom built to your specifications. AIDCO's in-house manufacturing allows for short lead times, allowing you to begin testing as soon as possible. Options range from additional gauges to built-in electronic shifting capabilities.
