Engine Dynamometer
Power Test water brake engine dynamometers excel at testing wide ranges of power inputs with one dynamometer. Used for testing engines removed from the vehicle, we offer several configurations for different testing applications.
Our X Series fixed base dynamometer may be used for continuous-duty endurance testing, break-in and power verification, quality assurance tests, and demanding research and development tests such as transient emissions testing. Our engine carts offer the flexibility of moving an engine within your facility, and ensure quick, precise placement to our sub bases.
The Z Series portable dynamometer connects directly to the flywheel allowing the engine to be tested in facilities with limited space.
In addition to our pre-configured dynamometer systems, Power Test offers a full line of complimentary accessories and support equipment to build a custom designed systems to meet your exact needs.

Chassis Dynamometer
Power Test manufactures single, tandem, and multi-axle chassis dynamometer systems built around the legendary performance and durability of our water brake dynamometers.
Available in both 20" and 40" diameter fixed and adjustable roll sets, all of our chassis dynamometers feature heavy-duty frames, precision balanced roll sets, and durable Power Test water brakes.
For complete power train diagnostics, Power Test exclusively offers our new patented Motorized Chassis Dynamometer. Now engine, transmission, drive train, retarder and brake testing, as well as alignment verification, can all be performed on a single machine.
All Power Test chassis dynamometers are available with a variety of load absorption units, including AC regenerative, eddy current, and water brake technology

Agricultural Dynamometer
Power Test is proud to introduce our new EC Series agricultural dynamometer for PTO testing. With this compact, portable eddy-current dynamometer, true power, torque, and RPM can be measured directly from the PTO without reliance on water.
