Power Test, Inc. supplies multi-axle versions of our tandem axle heavy-duty chassis dynamometer models CF41, CF42 or 40" roll set. They are used for break-in and power verification of every vehicle that comes off the Oshkosh Truck (Oshkosh, Wisconsin), production line.
The CA45 is rated to 2,750 HP and a maximum vehicle weight of 150,000 lbs (30,000 lbs per axle). The power rating is achieved through the use of (5) independent water brake absorbers, close-coupled to tire friendly 40" diameter rolls. The dynamometer use a unique mechanism to provide over 46" of automated wheelbase adjustment.
We can also provide multi-axle configurations of our 20" roll set dynamometers, in both water brake and AC eddy current absorber versions.
