The Gravimetric Fuel Measurement System manufactured by Power Test, Inc. allows reliable collection of engine fuel consumption information for use with your engine dynamometer system.
A wall mounted enclosure houses the fuel cells, heat exchanger, transfer pump, thermostatic control and proprietary measurement sensors for monitoring and conditioning fuel in either out-of- frame or in-frame engine test applications.
When combined with the PowerNet data acquisition and control package, the fuel measurement module is used to draw fuel from a bulk storage tank to the fuel cells, measure the specific gravity and temperature of the fuel, and provide automatic API correction. These features are critical to fuel measurement and engine power documentation.
