Power Test Dyno Company Announces New Company Developments for Summer 2010

Sussex, Wisconsin – Summer is here and as things continue to heat up in the Midwest, Power Test, Inc. continues to focus on new products and new markets for their engine and chassis dynamometers, transmission test stands and dyno products, and their advanced data acquisition and control systems.

As the future of the nation's economy is still uncertain, Power Test is taking measures to increase their competitive edge in the dynamometer market. One way they are honing that edge is through the acquisition of new machining equipment. At a time when most businesses are scaling back and limiting purchases, Power Test recognizes one of their strengths as their expertise in the in-house manufacturing of dynamometers and testing equipment.

In-house manufacturing allows Power Test to develop new products, including engine dyno designs, chassis dyno designs, transmission dynamometers, and hydraulic test stands. It also allows them to control the quality of the dynamometers and equipment they produce, as well as be in charge of their own delivery schedules. Furthermore, their manufacturing capabilities allow them to provide rapid service and parts for their existing dynamometer products.

Additionally, Power Test continues to increase their training, and they are currently expanding their customer service and sales forces. "We are fortunate that the demand for quality dynamometers, test stands, and data acquisition and control systems has put us in a position where we can provide numerous career opportunities with long term options and potential for growth. With these additions we can better serve the dynamometer industry, build stronger relationships, and build a stronger dyno sales pipeline," said a Power Test representative.

In international news, Power Test, Inc. is proud to announce the opening of their new European Sales Office. With nearly twenty years of experience in the design, manufacture and sale of a wide range of dynamometers, including engine, chassis, motorcycle, agricultural, and small engine dyno designs, Jos Swagemakers has been announced as the head of the Power Test European sales office based in the Netherlands. Now the superior customer support that Power Test is known for is even closer to their dynamometer customers in Europe.

Closer to home, Power Test continues to actively support their community. In addition to charitable giving and programs allowing at-risk inner city youth to experience life in a rural setting, Power Test has dedicated a portion of their property to agriculture and they are currently supplying local food pantries with an abundance of fresh vegetables from their "garden" being maintained by Power Test's employees and families.
