Sussex, WI – For the second year in a row, Power Test has been recognized as an outstanding manufacturer in Wisconsin as a leader in the manufacture of dynamometers. The Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year program recognizes manufacturers of all sizes and industries for their contributions to the great state of Wisconsin. Power Test recognizes one of their strengths as their expertise in the in-house manufacturing of dynamometers and dyno testing equipment, which allows Power Test to develop new products, including engine dyno models, chassis dyno models, transmission dynamometers, and hydraulic test stands. In-house manufacturing also allows them to control the quality of the dynamometers and equipment they produce, take charge of their own delivery schedules, and provide rapid service and parts for their existing dynamometer products.
In an environment in which many manufacturers have found it necessary to cut jobs and are struggling to survive, Power Test is continuing to grow. As a natural progression of their manufacturing capabilities they are now beginning to perform contract machining for other local equipment manufacturers who have lost their previous suppliers.
