Power Test Inc. Earns a Fastest Growing Firms Award

Sussex, WI – August 9, 2013 – Power Test Inc. has been named one of the winners of The Milwaukee Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Firms Award.

In all, The Business Journal is honoring 30 southeastern Wisconsin firms. All of the businesses saw substantial growth between 2010 and 2012. The Business Journal received more than 90 nominations for the award and the winners were chosen based on their percentage growth over the past three years.

“Despite the many obstacles that companies face in their day-to-day operations, including a struggling economy, these firms have been able to overcome those obstacles and remain on track,” said Mark Kass, The Business Journal’s editor-in-chief.

The winners will be honored in a special section in The Business Journal’s Aug. 16 print edition and at a luncheon on that day at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

“Power Test is honored to be a recipient of the Fastest Growing Firms Award,” said Alan Petelinsek, the President of Power Test. “We look forward to meeting the challenge of continued growth and producing products to meet the demand around the world.”

Infrastructure expansion such as new highways, railroads, airports and water systems as well as mining and power generation projects are increasing demand for Power Test products. The company’s products have been shipped to nearly 100 countries on six continents.

Power Test Inc. is highly committed to using Wisconsin companies as primary vendors for the company. Approximately two thirds of all component parts of the Power Test products come from Wisconsin manufacturers and distributors.
